Darkside (Borland Genetics)

The Darkside tool is a phasing script in the Borland Genetics Web Tools and Database that allows users to phase kits at the segment level and extract the out-of-phase or "darkside" alleles across matching segments, to a new DNA kit representing a partial DNA reconstruction of the opposite parent of the focus donor than that which the matching donor(s) are related.
The tool allows users to select a focus donor from their DNA Inventory, and then select which of that donor's matches are on say the MATERNAL side, and then uses the out-of-phase alleles in the focus donor's kit to create a partial reconstruction of the focus donor's FATHER.
