I'm a Canadian software developer and computer scientist with an interest in genetic genealogy. Since taking my first Y-DNA STR and SNP tests in 2009, I've followed discussions are developments in the Y-DNA world with a particular focus on R-L21, which is of course my own haplogroup. I am also interested in bioinformatics and have written software to design probes for high-throughput sequencing.
